I purchased this to take camping with my family. I pull my son and niece total combined weight of 80lbs with no problem (I weigh 180). The battery lasts for about 10 miles during this time and i use the PAS mode. The throttle only option is nice, but the PAS prolongs the battery's charge and it keeps up as fast as I could pedal. The battery is heavy (abot 20lb)but can be removed if you are transporting the bike on a rack. The bike itself is also heavy about 50lbs, so it a ittle awkward to get on and off at first.
