Yukon Trails Electric Mountain Bike (26-Inch)

I looked at previous reviews before purchasing my bike. I found assembly was very simple. For anyone without some experience in maintaining a regular bicycle with derailure you may want help from a cycle shop. I had no problems with pedal retainer. Could be that the design has changed. The Shimano shifters are very precise but did take some minor adjustment at assembly. Components are not the highest grade but the technology in the motor and battery account for bicycle cost. I have found the bicycle very reliable and made commuting a 23 mile round trip much more enjoyable. The level of excersize is up to the rider. I am able to get 17 miles per hour on level road under electric power only. With assist it is actually less and requires rider effort but you can maintain speed without increased effort.
