Love the bike, really a pleasure to ride, and handles most grades well. I don't use the battery much, because I like to pedal, and this bike, even with only 9 gears, is fun to ride and the gear ratios work well for most situations. When you need a little help, the battery is there. Have taken several rides, some over 20 miles, and never got close to depleting the battery. Highly recommended; not good for use with a trailer though, as the rear axle was too short to accommodate the adapter. Light weight aluminum, easy to fold, no peddling required. Does require some minor adjusting when you first receive it, which is normal. This can be done with the supplied tool kit and you don't have to be a "master mechanic" to accomplish this. A little common sense goes a long way.
